In this collaborative project between the Istgah collective and the Embassy of the Philippines in Tehran, four professional videos were produced with the aim of introducing Filipino and Southeast Asian culinary culture to an Iranian audience. The series was developed and executed in partnership with Mamasita, an internationally recognized brand and one of the most prominent symbols of Filipino culinary identity.
Mamasita is a leading Filipino brand specializing in the production of condiments, sauces, and essential ingredients for traditional Asian cuisine. Distributed in over 30 countries worldwide, the brand plays a key role in promoting the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines on a global scale. It is also supported by various cultural diplomacy institutions of the country for its contribution to preserving and sharing authentic Filipino gastronomy.
As part of a joint cultural project between the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Tehran and the Istgah Collective, in collaboration with the global Filipino food brand Mamasita, four professional videos were produced in four distinct phases during 2022. The project aimed to introduce and promote Filipino and East Asian culinary culture to Iranian audiences.
The content featured cooking demonstrations of traditional Filipino dishes using Mamasita products, along with supplementary segments including interviews, cultural narratives, and native visual elements.
The project was carried out under the supervision of the Embassy and in full compliance with health protocols, and it was delivered according to the agreed-upon schedule. Mr. Mahdi Norouzi served as the senior director and executive producer of the project, overseeing production quality and editing, and leading the entire creative and production team through all stages of the process.
