The musical theater production, “Corpse bride” was a significant adaptation and a fantastical performance in which the Istgah Orchestra played a crucial role in the musical component. The show ran for 20 nights at the Espinas Palace hall, marking a pivotal experience for the orchestra. First staged in 2018, this production served as the launchpad for the Istgah group’s foray into the world of drama.
The musical score for this show was brought to life by some of Iran’s finest musicians, specializing in string and percussion instruments. The Istgah Orchestra delivered outstanding performances throughout the 20-night run, contributing to the success of “The Corpse bride” which has since been recognized as one of Iran’s most successful musical theater productions.
